Honey Process

From 2013 to 2020, farmers on Bumba Hill would carry their coffee cherries 10 miles to the nearest washing station! In 2020, neighboring hill, Ninga Hill, built a washing station of their own through the partnership of incredible exporters and importers. Ninga now acts as an anchor of hope in their area, providing the resource of a washing station to both Giku Hill and Bumba Hill.

This cup demonstrates the acidity Burundi coffees can offer as well as thick berry-like sweetness.
